It is the most important festival for Muslims in many parts of the world, including in Singapore and Malaysia and Indonesia, where the festival is called as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Hari Raya Puasa. It celebrates the end of Ramadan (Puasa Month/ Fasting Month), the month where Muslims are obliged to Puasa (Fasting) from dawn to sunset.
